Why does Tammy Slaton feel so ugly?

Tammy Slaton looks to be in a tough spot. The star of 1000-Lb Sisters has been on a successful weight loss journey for over a year now, dropping from over 700 pounds to right around 400 pounds. Even qualifying for gastric bypass surgery. But even with all of that progress, it seems like Tammy is having a rough time.

A few days ago, Tammy shared a video on TikTok that suggests she might be struggling. In the clip, Tammy is sitting in a chair with some faint music in the background. She’s seen posing for the camera and then, towards the end of the video, taking her glasses off for a moment.

It’s at this point that Tammy said the following, before moving the camera away from herself:

“I was gonna say ‘I see the prettiness in my face’ but I’d be lying.”

The video has gained over 54,000 views and nearly 2,000 Likes, indicating that Tammy’s words are resonating with many people.

Last week, Tammy posted a compilation video with photos of herself and the song Ugly by TakeMy15 playing in the background. The lyrics of the track included:

“I’m so ugly that nobody wants me. I’m better off alone but the loneliness is killing me.”

Those are some heartbreaking words. It’s difficult to hear Tammy expressing such feelings, and we can only hope she doesn’t truly believe them deep down.

Tammy has faced some challenges recently, including her arrest in August for marijuana possession. Even more devastating, her husband Caleb Willingham passed away at the age of 40 this summer. The two had been married for about seven months after meeting in a rehab facility in 2022.

After losing her spouse, Tammy shared a message on Instagram, saying:

“Rip sweet angel. You will forever be missed and loved so much thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness [sic].”

The cause of Caleb’s death has not been made public, but sources told The Sun that he had been struggling with his weight more than usual before he passed away.

After suffering this tragedy, Tammy added:

“I am devastated to share the news of my husband’s passing. He was my best friend and I loved him dearly.

When I met Caleb he became my guardian angel and now he really is watching over me.

Our families appreciate everyone’s sympathy and ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”

It’s clear that this has been a tough time for Tammy, and we hope she is doing as well as she can be. We continue to keep her in our thoughts.

It’s always heartbreaking to see someone struggling, especially someone who has been so open about their life and challenges. We hope Tammy is able to find the support and strength she needs during this difficult time.

If you or someone you know is struggling with similar feelings, please know that you are not alone. There is help available, and reaching out for support is a brave and important step.
