Rosie O’Donnell is about to spice things up in the upcoming season three of Max’s And Just Like That. The comedian gave fans a sneak peek on her Instagram, revealing the front cover of the script for the premiere episode. Her character’s name is Mary, and the episode is titled “Outlook Good,” written and directed by executive producer Michael Patrick King. O’Donnell excitedly captioned the post with, “Here comes Mary! #andjustlikethat @hbo.”
O’Donnell joins the star-studded cast of Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis, reprising their iconic Sex and the City roles. In And Just Like That, the group navigates the complexities of life and friendship in their 50s, quite a different journey from their 30s on the original show.
Sarah Jessica Parker also shared the excitement of the new season by posting photos of the scripts for episodes one and two, signaling the start of table reads for season three. Nixon and Davis also took to social media to express their joy for the upcoming season.
However, not all former cast members will be returning. Karen Pittman, who played Nya Wallace, and Sara Ramírez, known for the controversial character Che Diaz, will not be back for season three. So the gang will have to navigate new challenges without them.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, season three of And Just Like That is scheduled to premiere in 2025. So fans will have to wait a little longer to see how Rosie O’Donnell’s character shakes things up for the group.
