So, have you heard the latest weather report? Rob Marciano, the charming meteorologist we all love to watch on TV, is no longer employed by ABC. Yep, you read that right. The network gave him the boot recently, and the internet is abuzz with speculation about why.
Rob had been a fixture at ABC News since 2014, but things took a turn for the worse last year when he was temporarily banned from the studio in New York City. Rumor has it that his behavior was a bit less than professional, to say the least. Some say he did something inappropriate and got punished for it. Oof.
But hold on, folks, because that’s not even the juiciest part of this whole saga. Many suspect that Rob’s firing may have something to do with his divorce. Yep, you heard me right. The man’s personal life may have played a role in his professional downfall.
Rob and his wife, Eryn Marciano, called it quits after 11 long years of marriage. Eryn, a successful real estate agent from Atlanta, initiated the split and even sold their $2.7 million house as a parting gift. Ouch, that’s gotta hurt.
The ex-couple shares two adorable kids, Madelynn and Mason, who seem to be taking the split in stride. They even went on a family trip to Disney World together. Now that’s what I call a civilized divorce.
Despite all the family bonding, Rob seems to have had a rough time dealing with the end of his marriage. Sources say he struggled with anger issues and made some folks at work feel uncomfortable. Yikes, that’s not a great look for a weatherman.
