Patrick Mahomes is the star quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, but let’s take a moment to get to know his longtime love, Brittany Matthews!
The 27-year-old Super Bowl-winning quarterback began dating Brittany while they were both in high school. They attended Whitehouse High School together in East Texas.
After high school, they went their separate ways for college. Brittany attended the University of Texas at Tyler, while Patrick attended Texas Tech University. Despite the distance, their love persevered, and they remained together throughout their college years.

Since then, they have gotten engaged, married, and are now proud parents of two children. Their firstborn, Sterling, was born in February 2021, while their second child, Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon Mahomes III, came into the world in November 2022.
In addition to being Patrick’s wife, Brittany was also a college athlete. She played soccer while enrolled at the University of Texas at Tyler.
When reflecting on her soccer journey, Brittany mentioned, “I didn’t even see myself playing college soccer when I graduated high school. However, I ended up coming to UT Tyler to play soccer because it was close to home, and I knew a few girls that played here that loved it and told me I need to join the family. So I did, and these last four years have made me fall in love with soccer all over again and want to go on and play professional soccer.”
Although she has moved on from professional sports, Brittany has found her passion in her own business called “Brittany Lynne Fitness.”
Whenever Patrick takes the field, Brittany can be seen cheering him on at Chiefs games. She is his biggest supporter.
Recently, there was some drama between Brittany and Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, which unfolded publicly.
