Details have been kept close to the chest about the upcoming finale to the Multiverse Saga: Avengers: Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. However, it seems as though the first details have begun to leak. According to inside MyTimeToShineHello, Avengers: Kang Dynasty will see the MCU heroes fail to beat the Council of Kangs, only to be saved by Marvel Studios heroes from before the MCU like Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine:
These plot details for Avengers: Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars may seem lazy to MCU fans, as they mirror the events of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. However, there is no certainty these leaks are accurate, as they contradict prior insiders saying Tom Holland would lead the Multiversal Avengers, not Tobey Maguire. Regardless, it seems as though fans are in for a Multiverse of possibilities!
The future of the Avengers franchise
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is the first movie in a two-part finale to Marvel’s Multiverse Saga. It will be followed by Avengers: Secret Wars, rounding out Marvel Studios’ Phase 6. Both films are scheduled to arrive in theaters in 2025.
Destin Daniel Cretton is set to direct Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, with Jeff Loveness attached to write. Michael Waldron will write Avengers: Secret Wars, though there is no director attached to the project.
