Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, well-known Hollywood couple, recently made a rare appearance with their two daughters at the US Open. The “Devil Wears Prada” actress and “Office” actor brought their children, Hazel, 9, and Violet, 7, to watch some intense matches at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City last Friday. The family of four was spotted in the stands, fully engrossed in one of the men’s semifinal games.
Blunt and Krasinski seemed to be thoroughly enjoying their family outing, with the actress excitedly clapping throughout the event. Cameras even caught Krasinski leaning in to talk to Hazel while Violet sat adorably on his lap. The family watched the men’s semifinals, fully engrossed in the thrilling matches.
In terms of fashion, Blunt, 40, wore a stylish long-sleeve, floral-printed midi dress, accessorized with a black shoulder bag, white sneakers, and round-framed glasses. Her husband, 43, complemented her look with a short-sleeved navy shirt with white trim on the collar. Their eldest daughter, Hazel, opted for a cool and casual ensemble with a simple T-shirt, colorful sneakers, and a Boston Red Sox baseball cap. Violet, on the other hand, chose a blue-and-white, off-the-shoulder dress and a glittery headband.
This outing comes a few months after Blunt revealed that she would be taking a break from her career to focus on her family. In a July episode of the “Table For Two with Bruce Bozzi” podcast, she mentioned that she’s “not working” this year and wants to be fully present for her children during their last year of single digits. Blunt explained that she feels guilty when she misses out on important moments in her kids’ lives and wanted to be there for all of them during this time.
However, Blunt later clarified that her statement about quitting Hollywood was “overblown.” She emphasized that she’s just taking a few months off to spend time with her children and is not quitting her acting career.
Blunt and Krasinski have been married since 2010 and have been a beloved Hollywood couple ever since. It’s heartwarming to see them prioritize their family and make special appearances like this at events like the US Open.
