Elon Musk’s Decision to Reinstate Alex Jones on X Sparks Outrage from Sandy Hook Parent and Users

Elon Musk's decision to reinstate Alex Jones on X has sparked outrage from a grieving parent and caused a boycott of the platform.

It seems that Elon Musk and Alex Jones are back in the spotlight, and not in a good way. The decision to let the infamous conspiracy theorist back on X has sparked outrage from David Wheeler, a parent who tragically lost his son, Benjamin, in the Sandy Hook school shooting. In fact, David went so far as to call Elon Musk a “sociopath” for allowing Jones back on the platform.

It’s no secret that Alex Jones has been outspoken in his belief that the Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax, a theory that has caused immeasurable pain to the families of the victims. So, it’s not surprising that David feels the same way about Jones as he does about Musk. In his eyes, they both deserve each other. Ouch.

In response to Elon’s decision, David has taken a stand by refusing to use X/Twitter since Musk took over. He believes that both Musk and Jones are simply operating in their own world, oblivious to the harm they cause. And he’s not alone in his disdain for Jones, as nearly 70 percent of X users voted in favor of bringing him back.

This isn’t the first time Alex Jones has been booted from a social media platform. In 2018, he was given the boot from Twitter due to his abusive behavior, particularly towards the families of the Sandy Hook victims. And to add insult to injury, Jones also found himself on the losing side of defamation lawsuits brought against him by the victims’ families, to the tune of nearly $1 billion. Ouch again.

The plot thickens when you consider Elon Musk’s previous stance on Jones. After acquiring Twitter, Musk vowed not to reinstate Jones, citing his lack of mercy for anyone who would exploit the deaths of children for their own gain. But now, it seems Musk has reversed course, basing his decision on the opinions of users rather than his own convictions. According to David, this flip-flopping just shows that Musk has no convictions at all. Double ouch.

So, what’s David’s advice to X users? Close your accounts and delete the app because Alex Jones is back, baby. It seems that the drama between Musk, Jones, and the grieving families of Sandy Hook is far from over. Stay tuned for more of this rollercoaster ride of social media shenanigans.
