Marvel Studios fans have been eagerly waiting for updates on the upcoming Disney Plus shows. While news has been scarce, the logos for two highly anticipated series, ‘Echo’ and ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries,’ have recently surfaced online, giving fans hope for more Marvel content.
Given Marvel Studios’ recent announcement about reevaluating its approach to Disney Plus content and the reworking of ‘Daredevil: Born Again,’ it’s a relief for fans to see that ‘Echo’ and ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries’ haven’t been canceled. However, the release dates for these shows are still uncertain.
‘Echo’ is expected to debut on Disney Plus next year, with all episodes being released at once. This makes it the first MCU project on Disney Plus to follow the Netflix binge-watching model.
The executive producers for ‘Echo’ include Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Stephen Broussard, Richie Palmer, Marion Dayre, and Jason Gavin. Amy Rardin, Sydney Freeland, Christina King, and Jennifer Booth will serve as co-executive producers.
Meet the Cast of ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries’
‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries’ is a spin-off series of ‘WandaVision’ that revolves around Kathryn Hahn’s character, Agatha Harkness. The show is being developed by Jac Schaefer, who served as the head writer and executive producer of ‘WandaVision.’ Schaefer has also worked on hit Marvel films like ‘Captain Marvel’ and ‘Black Widow.’
In addition to Kathryn Hahn, the cast of ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries’ includes Aubrey Plaza, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata, Debra Jo Rupp, Emma Caulfield, David Payton, David Lengel, Asif Ali, Amos Glick, Brian Brightman, and Kate Forbes. The series is directed by Jac Schaeffer, Gandja Monteiro, and Rachel Goldberg.
Aside from ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries,’ Marvel Studios is also developing another spin-off series centered around The Vision. With multiple spin-offs in the works, ‘WandaVision’ fans can look forward to more exciting content in the coming years.
