You won’t believe how Travis and Jason Kelce responded to Donna Kelce’s diss!

Travis and Jason Kelce face criticism from their mother over their gift-giving skills. Will they redeem themselves with the perfect Mother's Day present?

Travis and Jason Kelce, the dynamic duo of football fame, recently found themselves in a bit of a pickle when their mother, Donna Kelce, publicly called them out on their less-than-stellar gift-giving skills. In a candid moment on the “Today” show, Donna shared her thoughts on whether her sons were good at giving Mother’s Day presents, and let’s just say her response wasn’t exactly glowing.

On a recent episode of their “New Heights” podcast, Travis and Jason didn’t shy away from addressing their mom’s comments. Travis, the younger of the two at 34, started off by admitting, “Are we gift givers? I mean, let’s be real here.” Jason, who is 36, chimed in with a self-deprecating remark, saying, “I’m bad, like really bad. Don’t even ask Kylie about it.” (Side note: Jason’s confession that he’s a month behind on their anniversary gift is pure gold.)

But here’s where things get really entertaining. Travis, in his typical witty fashion, pointed out, “At least [Donna] was honest. She didn’t sugarcoat it. I mean, come on, you can’t be good at reading and then be good at gift-giving. It’s just not humanly possible.” Jason quickly jumped in to agree, joking, “I can’t be good at dancing and be good at gift-giving. I can only have one talent. And my talent is showing people what true expression looks like.”

The brothers then embarked on a brainstorming session to come up with the perfect gift for their mom, who happens to be a fan of black and white attire. Jason amusingly noted, “She’s big on black and white, like a lot. I’ve picked up on this.” And just when you think it couldn’t get any funnier, Jason’s comparison of Donna to Cruella de Vil drew a sharp rebuke from Travis. “Don’t you dare compare mom to Cruella de Vil! She’s a saint, an angel,” Travis vehemently exclaimed.

In a rare moment of reflection, Travis publicly apologized to Donna for their lackluster gifts in the past. “Mom, we owe you a legendary Mother’s Day gift. We love you,” Travis declared. Jason attempted to defend himself by claiming he usually opts for a heartfelt text message instead of presents, but Travis saw right through his brother’s excuse. “Let’s not sugarcoat it. You’re not exactly known for heartfelt texts,” Travis quipped. But in the end, the two brothers promised to step up their game this year, all thanks to Donna’s honest critique.

When Donna herself was asked about spending Mother’s Day with Travis and Jason, she graciously explained that their schedules often kept them apart during the holiday. “They’re in their off-season, off and running and doing their own thing,” Donna shared. “But that’s okay. I have so many blessings, it doesn’t even matter.”

And thus, the Kelce family saga of gift-giving woes continues. Will Travis and Jason finally deliver the perfect Mother’s Day present this year? Only time will tell. Until then, let’s just enjoy the comedic banter between these two brothers and their loving, yet brutally honest, mother. Cheers to Donna Kelce for keeping it real!
