In the latest episode of Sister Wives, Christine Brown made it clear that she has no interest in rebuilding a friendship with Robyn Brown. Robyn, who has been emotional about the division within the plural family since Kody Brown’s split from Christine, expressed her disappointment in not being able to establish a relationship with her sister wife.
Robyn claimed that she had always tried to be kind to Christine and constantly reached out to her, but Christine would only respond with jealousy. She tearfully shared that she believed they had the potential for a great relationship, but could never understand why it never happened.
However, Christine had a different perspective on the situation. She believed that if Robyn truly wanted a relationship with her, she should have initiated a conversation about it. She admitted that even if Robyn had approached her for friendship, she would have rejected it because she didn’t trust her.
This episode shed light on the fractured relationships within the Brown family. Kody’s relationships with Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn have all had their ups and downs, but the viewers were shocked when almost all of the wives started to leave him.
Christine and Kody’s split came as a surprise to Sister Wives viewers. After being together for more than 25 years, Christine made the difficult decision to leave. The dynamic of the family was further shaken up when Kody divorced Meri and legally married Robyn.
Fans have also seen Janelle’s relationship with Kody deteriorate on season 18 of Sister Wives. In this episode, Christine tried to convince Janelle to move back to Utah with her. Both women, who have remained close friends after their splits from Kody, discussed Kody’s desire for them to be better sister wives to Robyn. Janelle, however, made it clear that plural marriage does not require being best friends with your sister wives.
Christine, on the other hand, was frustrated with Kody’s expectations and accused him of being hypocritical. She pointed out that Meri had a great relationship with Robyn for years, despite Kody not being attracted to her. Christine felt that Kody’s request for her to be better to Robyn was unreasonable.
In the end, Kody argued that his request wasn’t really about Robyn, but about Christine being better to everyone in the family. The episode highlighted the ongoing tension and the complicated dynamics within the plural family.
