What do J Balvin, Usher, and DJ Khaled showcase in their latest video?

J Balvin, the Colombian reggaeton superstar, is back with a new single titled “Dientes,” and it comes with an eye-catching neon-colored music video. But what makes this release even more exciting is the presence of two guest artists: Usher and DJ Khaled.

The EDM and reggaeton track, “Dientes,” is a clever reinterpretation of Usher’s 2004 mega-hit “Yeah!” The music video showcases lively city streets and bright indoor dance floors, putting J Balvin, Usher, and DJ Khaled in the spotlight. In fact, DJ Khaled even busts out his signature viral dance move atop a Dance Dance Revolution-like video game.

Throughout the video, references to Usher’s 2004 cover of Vibe magazine can be seen flashing on the screen. The iconic magazine cover, with the headline “Cheating, Fighting, and Getting High…Yeah!” pays homage to Usher’s successful career in the R&B genre.

“Dientes” was produced by a talented team including Mura Masa, Fred Ball, DJ Luian, Mambo Kingz, Tainy, and Michael Brun. In a press release, the track is described as a testament to J Balvin’s ability to reinvent and reimagine music while staying true to his Latino roots.

This release comes after J Balvin’s 2021 album “Jose,” which featured hit singles like “Qué Más Pues?” with Maria Becerra and “Un Día (One Day),” a collaboration with J Balvin, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny, and Tainy.

J Balvin is widely recognized for inspiring numerous rising and top reggaeton artists in the industry today, including Karol G. In fact, Balvin recently shared the stage with Karol G during her stadium trek in the United States. With over 110 billion streams to date, J Balvin holds the record for the most number of streams in the history of Vevo.
