Blake Lively is known for her impeccable fashion sense, and even when she’s baking, she doesn’t shy away from head-to-toe designer outfits. Recently, the 36-year-old actress flew to Paris to take a pastry-making lesson with renowned chef Cédric Grolet, and she made sure to put her best fashion foot forward.
Lively took to Instagram to show off her outfit and the sweet activity. She posted a photo of herself wearing a navy blue and magenta cardigan from Chanel, paired with a patterned skirt. On her feet, she opted for light pink loafers from Christian Louboutin. She accessorized with a beaded Chanel clutch and a collection of rings, which she jokingly referred to as “Ring pops. Grown-up edition.” The Gossip Girl alum kept her makeup minimal and styled her blonde tresses in loose curls.
Together with Grolet, Lively created a berry-infused dessert with lots of icing. The chef was impressed by Lively’s talent and expressed his surprise in an Instagram video.
Lively later shared a carousel of photos and videos, showing herself and Grolet enjoying the cake and sipping on different flavors of her beverage line. It was evident that she had the time of her life during the baking session.
This baking adventure was not Lively’s first foray into the culinary world. In September 2021, she announced the launch of her newest venture, Betty Buzz, a line of sparkling, non-alcoholic mixers. The brand is named after her late father, Ernie Lively. She shared that she wanted the success of the brand to be associated with a name that was meaningful to him. Betty was her father’s mother and sister’s name.
Not stopping there, in June, nearly two years after starting Betty Buzz, Lively revealed that she was launching a new line of canned cocktails called Betty Booze. Despite not being a big drinker herself, Lively emphasized the importance of flavor and the use of homemade recipes and real ingredients in her beverages.
