Is Kevin Federline planning to ask for an increase in child support from Britney Spears?

It seems like Kevin Federline, the ex-husband of Britney Spears, is considering seeking an increase in child support from her. According to sources with direct knowledge, Kevin currently receives $40,000 a month in child support for their two children, Jayden James and Sean Preston. However, the amount was based on the assumption that they would each have the kids 50% of the time. In reality, Britney has had no time with the kids for years, and they are not even in contact with her.

One of the boys, Sean Preston, is turning 18 soon, so the child support for him will come to an end. However, support for Jayden will continue until around June 2025 when he graduates high school. Therefore, $20,000 would be the relevant amount if Kevin requests an increase, but that figure could increase if he can demonstrate that he needs more money for 100% of Jayden’s care.

Kevin, his sons, and his wife, Victoria, recently made the move to Hawaii. This decision was not contested by Britney in court. Kevin encouraged his sons to have a relationship with their mother, but he did not want to force them. As a result, the kids have not seen Britney for nearly two years.

It remains to be seen whether Kevin will actually pursue an increase in child support from Britney. We reached out to Kevin’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, for comment but have not received a response yet.
