Emmerdale fans, get ready for another week of twists and turns in the village! In next week’s episode, it seems that there will be some exciting baby news and a surprise engagement. But, as always, things may not be as they seem.
First up, Mack spots a pregnancy test and jumps to conclusions, believing that Chloe is pregnant. Filled with excitement, he proposes to her. The couple then share the news with their loved ones, causing a mix of reactions. Moira worries that Mack is rushing into things, while Nate suspects that Mack’s proposal is driven by his desire for another baby. The question remains, does Mack truly want to marry Chloe or is he just caught up in the excitement?
However, it turns out that Chloe’s pregnancy may not be the happy news everyone thinks it is. She confides in Amy that her period has started, indicating that she’s not actually pregnant. Afraid of losing Mack if he finds out the truth, Chloe keeps quiet. Eventually, she musters up the courage to come clean, but will Mack still want to marry her without the baby on the way?
Meanwhile, Charles is struggling with guilt over Victor’s death. As Claudette and Manpreet handle funeral arrangements, Charles tries to hold himself together. However, the guilt becomes too much for him. He can’t bear to tell Claudette the truth about Victor, fearing her disappointment. Instead, he seeks solace in a bottle and takes out his anger on Tom, pinning him down at the Woolpack. It’s a shocking moment for everyone, and Charles’ family intervenes to stop his outburst. Will he finally listen to Manpreet and be honest with Claudette?
In other news, Gail’s secret is out in the open and she and Ryan must confront the aftermath. Can they find a way to move forward together? And speaking of complicated relationships, Chas is feeling jealous of Mandy and Paddy’s bond. Marlon does his best to reassure her, but will it be enough?
Lastly, Belle delivers some disappointing news to Tom. She tells him that she can’t move in with him just yet, leaving him devastated. Can Tom convince her to change her mind?
