In a recent interview with People Magazine, Kody revealed that he’s done with polygamy and is not an advocate for it. He offered some wisdom to those considering multiple marriages, stating, “I don’t advise people to marry and go over three wives. I’ve had my own experience in it and I’ve had my own failures in it.”
It sure sounds like Kody is blaming his ex-wives Christine, Janelle, and Meri for the demise of their relationships, doesn’t it? He continued, “To be fair, if you know people very, very, very well, maybe it’ll work. But there’s those marriages that have people who know each other very, very, very well, and they still don’t work.”
Kody’s view on the polygamous lifestyle has certainly changed over the years due to the dissolution of his marriages. He admitted, “I don’t have the answers. When I was 25, I had no experience and all the answers. Now I’m 55 and I have all the experience and zero answers.”
Kody is legally married to Robyn Brown, his fourth and only remaining wife, and has stated that he has no plans to bring on any new partners. In a recent one-on-one special, he confessed that he has always loved Robyn the most and would never love another woman as much as he loves her.
It’s easy to see that Kody’s selfish and sexist behavior likely played a role in the breakdown of his relationships. His close relationship with Robyn spelled doom for his other marriages, and he now claims to have learned from his past mistakes.
