It was a star-studded affair at the Anine Bing Sounds the Spirit of LA event held at Chateau Marmont on a Thursday evening in Los Angeles. The event was not just about the fashion designer’s new summer collection but also marked the release of her new album, Therapy.
Actresses Laura Harrier and Alison Brie were among the attendees who added glamour to the event. They were joined by other celebs like Ashley Madekwe, Abigail Spencer, Georgia May Jagger, Awkwafina, Georgie Flores, Ava Phillippe, Elsa Hosk, Akira Akbar, and more. The event also featured a performance by Winona Oak and saw sisters Aurora and Sophia Culpo in attendance.
Therapy is Anine’s comeback to the music scene after a 14-year hiatus. The album consists of 12 tracks and is available for streaming on Apple Music. In a heartfelt post on Instagram following the event, Anine expressed her gratitude for the support she received. She shared, “I released my album THERAPY. After a 14 year break from music, it felt so empowering to share this new album with the world. I stepped out of my comfort zone last night and performed four songs at the @aninebingofficial event. I have never been so nervous in my entire life, but it turned out to be one of the best nights of my life.”
She further added, “I was surrounded by so many supportive women, and my band was there to sing harmonies with me. I felt right at home doing what I love most. I feel so GRATEFUL that I get to do all the things I love in life and combine them into a beautiful mix of passion and creativity. My heart is full.”
