Real Housewives of Potomac star Karen Huger has recently dropped some hints about an upcoming physical altercation on the show’s eighth season. In an exclusive interview with HollywoodLife, Karen shared her thoughts on the incident involving Keiana Stewart.
“I really like K [Keiana]. It’s unfortunate, but we will rise and we will survive as RHOP,” Karen, who is 60, shared at BravoCon on November 3. “And we will increase security.”
Karen is set to return for season 8 of RHOP alongside her co-stars Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Wendy Osefo, Mia Thornton, and newcomer Nneka Ihim. Keiana, on the other hand, will be making her debut on the show as a “friend of,” while Charisse Jackson Jordan will return for her second season as a “friend.”
The upcoming season created quite a buzz months ago when a video released by TMZ in July showed Keiana involved in a fight with Deborah Williams, a friend of Ashley’s, at Zebbie’s Garden in Washington, D.C.
The cast was at the bar filming for Ashley and Gizelle’s fashion line launch on July 13 when the drama initially started between Candiace and Deborah. According to a source, “Candiace and Deborah had been talking s–t about each other all night. Candiace was confronting Deborah about what she had been saying about her husband Chris, and Keiana walked up and got herself involved.”
While Keiana allegedly threw the first punch, the source claimed that Deborah “definitely won” the fight. However, no arrests were made, and no charges were pressed at the time of the incident.
Fans will have the opportunity to witness the events themselves during season 8 of RHOP, which premieres on Sunday, November 8th at 8:00 p.m. EST on Bravo.
