Which actors are part of the voice cast for ‘Hazbin Hotel’ on Prime Video?

Stephanie Beatriz, Keith David, and Kimiko Glenn have been announced as part of the voice cast for the new adult animated series “Hazbin Hotel.” The show’s first season is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video in January 2024.

The full voice cast was unveiled by Prime Video at New York Comic Con, where attendees were also treated to a teaser of an original song titled “Happy Day in Hell.” The series regulars for Season 1 include Beatriz as Vaggie, David as Husk, Glenn as Niffty, Erika Henningsen as Charlie, Alex Brightman as Sir Pentious, Blake Roman as Angel Dust, Amir Talai as Alastor. Christian Borle and Joel Perez will round out the voice ensemble as demons of Hell Vox and Valentino, respectively.

“Hazbin Hotel” is an animated musical comedy series that follows Charlie, the princess of Hell, as she tries to rehabilitate demons to reduce overpopulation peacefully in her kingdom. In the show’s universe, Charlie aims to open a hotel, hoping that patrons will transform themselves and “check out” into Heaven. While her goal is ridiculed by most of Hell, her devoted partner Vaggie and their first test subject, the adult film-star Angel Dust, stand by her side. When a powerful entity known as the “Radio Demon” offers to assist Charlie, her ambitious dream is given a chance to become a reality.

The inspiration for “Hazbin Hotel” comes from creator Medrano’s animated pilot, which was released on YouTube in 2019 and garnered over 89 million views. Medrano serves as the executive producer and has directed all episodes. Executive producers for the show include Joel Kuwahara, Dana Tafoya-Cameron, and Scott Greenberg, with Greenberg exclusively serving as an executive producer for the first season only. “Hazbin Hotel” is produced by A24 and Fox Entertainment’s Emmy award-winning animation studio, Bento Box Entertainment.
