Did Travis Kelce make a surprise appearance in the Taylor Swift NFL sketch on ‘SNL’ premiere?

In a recent episode of Saturday Night Live, the popular comedy sketch show, the NFL’s coverage of Taylor Swift became the subject of hilarious parody. The SNL actors spoofed FOX commentators with Swiftie puns and even sang her hit song “Bad Blood.” However, they promised to feature “someone who actually wants to talk football” in the next segment.

To everyone’s surprise, that “someone” turned out to be Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. As the crowd erupted in applause, Travis made a surprise cameo appearance at the end of the NFL sketch about Taylor Swift. Clearly excited, Travis responded with a resounding “Yes, please!” Travis had previously hosted SNL back in March 2023.

While Taylor Swift did not make an appearance in the sketch, another familiar face did. Pete Davidson, known for his role on SNL, kicked off season 49 as the host, with Ice Spice as the musical guest. Ice Spice, who collaborated with Taylor on the “Karma” remix, and Taylor herself had previously teamed up with Pete for Please Don’t Destroy’s “Three Sad Virgins” video.

Travis Kelce made his surprise appearance in New York after his team’s recent win against the Denver Broncos. Taylor Swift, who is now romantically linked with Travis, showed up to support him in Kansas City. This marked the third game that Taylor attended to cheer Travis on in person.

Taylor and Travis have quickly become the “it” couple of the moment. Following the Chiefs’ game on October 12, it seemed that Taylor spent the night at Travis’ mansion. Taylor is currently on a break from her Eras world tour.

Despite their busy schedules, Taylor and Travis continue to make time for each other and nurture their blossoming romance. According to a source from Us Weekly, their friends believe that they are a “good match.” The insider added, “It’s still so new, but they really like each other. They both want to try to see each other when they can, and they’re both understanding of each other’s schedules.”

Travis’ next game is against the Los Angeles Chargers in Kansas City on October 22, while Taylor will be kicking off the international leg of her tour on November 8 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
