Did Mary Cosby Really Say She Wasn’t Invited to BravoCon?

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star, Meredith Marks, recently addressed Mary Cosby’s BravoCon absence during an exclusive interview with HollywoodLife. Marks, 51, expressed her disappointment, stating, “I miss her. I wish she was here.” When asked about whether Mary, 51, was invited to the Las Vegas event, Marks responded, “I don’t know.”

This response comes after Mary claimed on X (formerly Twitter) on October 31 that she “was not invited to BravoCon.”

Mary Cosby appeared in seasons 1 and 2 of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City but left the show in 2022 following costar Jennie Nguyen’s racism controversy and subsequent firing. However, Mary made her return to the franchise during season 4 as a “friend.”

According to a source who spoke to Page Six in February, Mary requested to return to the show after dealing with significant trauma following Season 2. The source stated, “Jennie’s racist posts really seemed to shake Mary, especially after Jennie threw a glass at her on camera… Mary was grateful for the time away from the cameras, but she seems ready to get back in the mix.”

Although Mary initially denied leaving RHOSLC, her departure became evident when she skipped out on the season 2 finale. Jennie Nguyen, who joined the cast during season 2, was also removed from the show after her anti-Black Lives Matter posts from 2020 resurfaced. Bravo executive producer, Andy Cohen, referred to the posts as “disgusting and upsetting.”

In addition to Mary and Jennie’s departures, more cast shakeups occurred when Jen Shah left RHOSLC after season 3. Shah was sentenced to 78 months (approximately 6.5 years) in prison in January 2023 for telemarketing fraud.
