Britney’s Manager Roasts ‘SNL’, Says Show “Needs CPR” & Chloe Fineman “Ain’t It”

Alright, folks, it seems like Britney Spears’ manager, Cade Hudson, is not too pleased with the recent parody of the Princess of Pop on Saturday Night Live. In fact, he’s so unimpressed that he took to social media to air his grievances.

“Wow. The writers of SNL are getting worse and worse,” Hudson shared on social media. “No wonder you all reached out to me to get Britney on the show… SNL is on life support.” Ouch, tell us how you really feel, Cade!

Hudson didn’t stop there, oh no. He continued, “You all are pathetic and this Chloe [Fineman] isn’t funny. Did you find her on Craigslist or something?” Yikes, shots fired! I guess he’s not a fan of the comedic talents showcased on SNL.

Chloe Fineman’s Impersonation of Britney Spears

So, what exactly got Britney’s manager all riled up? Well, it was the pre-taped sketch featuring Chloe Fineman’s impersonation of Spears. This time, the sketch revolved around the “Stronger” singer’s memoir “The Woman in Me.” The clips of the audiobook narrated by Michelle Williams went viral on social media, and this is what inspired the SNL parody, showcasing the supposed casting process to find the best person for the job.

The celebrity readers in the sketch included Allison Janney (portrayed by Heidi Gardner), Martin Scorcese (played by Timothée Chalamet, because heaven forbid we have him play himself, how terribly unfunny would that be?), John Mulaney (played by Sarah Sherman), the B52s’ Fred Schneider (played by Bowen Yang), and Jada Pinkett Smith (played by Ego Nwodim). Quite the star-studded cast for a parody sketch!

Fineman has been impersonating Spears on the NBC late-night show for years and is one of her most recognizable impersonations alongside Drew Barrymore. It’s clear that she has made quite the impression with her comedic portrayal of the pop icon.
