  • Court documents reveal chilling “Things to Remember” section with notes for “next time”
  • Authorities suspect Heuermann had more killings planned based on his use of the words “next time”

So, it turns out that our boy Rex Heuermann was quite the note-taker. But not in the way you’d expect – this guy was jotting down some seriously disturbing stuff. I mean, we all make lists to keep track of things, but “hit harder” and “use heavier rope” are not exactly your typical reminders.

This past week, Rex got hit with some fresh charges for the alleged murders of Jessica Taylor and Sandra Costilla. These poor girls were just in their 20s when they met their tragic end, their bodies left scattered around Gilgo Beach over ten years ago. Talk about a chilling case.

According to reports, there was a document presented in court that had a section labeled “Things to Remember.” And let me tell you, what Rex had on that list is enough to give you nightmares. “Hit harder” was one of his notes – like, seriously Rex? Can’t we all just get along without resorting to violence? And then there’s the reminder to use heavier rope because apparently the light stuff wasn’t cutting it. Literally.

The district attorney didn’t take too kindly to Rex’s little notes. They saw the phrase “next time” and immediately thought, oh great, this guy has more murders planned. Like, really? Who does that?

In a court filing, the district attorney said that the Gilgo Homicide Task Force members believe that Rex’s references to “next time” indicate that he’s had some practice in the art of killing. Like he’s some kind of sick seasoned pro or something. And now he’s just making changes to improve his method. I don’t know about you, but that’s not the kind of career advancement I want to see.

So, what’s the deal with Rex? Is he some sort of twisted villain straight out of a horror movie? Or just a guy with a really messed up hobby? Either way, I think it’s safe to say that he’s got some issues he needs to work out.

If you’re in the mood for some true crime drama, this whole Rex Heuermann saga is definitely worth diving into. Just be prepared for some seriously twisted stuff. And hey, if you enjoy reading about psychos and their bizarre habits, why not share this article with your friends? I’m sure they’ll get a kick out of it too. Until next time, stay safe out there, folks. And remember, always use heavier rope. Just in case.
