The news is out! Ralph Ineson, known for his roles in The Witch, The Green Knight, and The Northman, will be taking on the epic role of Galactus the Devourer of Worlds in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie from Marvel Studios. And let’s not forget his recent stint in The First Omen, where he undoubtedly left us all in awe.

Now, there were whispers in the wind about Javier Bardem possibly taking up the mantle of Galactus, but we’re thrilled to hear that it’s Ineson who will be bringing this cosmic villain to life. With a voice as commanding as his, there’s no doubt he’ll bring a chilling presence to the role.

Ineson isn’t a stranger to the Marvel Cinematic Universe either, having appeared as a Ravager pilot in Guardians of the Galaxy. But now, he’s stepping into the shoes of a character of much grander scale and significance.

The casting announcements for The Fantastic Four don’t stop there. We’ve got Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm (the Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm (the Human Torch), Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm (The Thing), Julia Garner as the Shalla-Bal version of the Silver Surfer, and Paul Walter Hauser in a mystery role. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, the legendary John Malkovich joins the cast in a role shrouded in secrecy.

Set to launch Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, The Fantastic Four will be helmed by director Matt Shakman (WandaVision) and a team of talented writers. Production is gearing up to start this summer, and Shakman promises that this movie will be a game-changer in the superhero genre.

“It’s different in so many ways,” Shakman teased. “I wish I could spill the beans, but we’re approaching this project with a fresh perspective that will truly elevate the storytelling and filmmaking process. You’re in for something unlike anything Marvel has ever done before.”

So mark your calendars for July 25, 2025, as The Fantastic Four promises to be a cosmic adventure like no other. And with Ralph Ineson leading the charge as Galactus, we can’t wait to see the Devourer of Worlds in all his cosmic glory!
