The drama, created by Deborah Davis, has been a great hit for the corporation. “Marie Antoinette” is produced by Claude Chelli, Margaux Balsan, Stéphanie Chartreux, and Bedside Productions. The production of season 2 is currently underway.
‘Planet Earth III‘ Sells Around the World
David Attenborough’s latest natural history masterpiece, “Planet Earth III,” has been making waves globally. BBC Studios, in partnership with BBC America, ZDF, France Télévisions, and The Open University, has successfully sold the documentary series to various countries. The series has been picked up by Nine in Australia, VRT in Belgium, Czech TV in the Czech Republic, DR in Denmark, Mediaset in Italy, TVNZ in New Zealand, Movistar Plus+ in Spain, and SVT in Sweden.
Additionally, NHK in Japan is co-producing the series, and China’s Shanghai Media Group has acquired the rights for linear TV, as well as streaming rights on Bilibili, iQiyi, Tencent Video, Youku, and China Mobile’s Migu Video. Under the executive producer Mike Gunton and the series producer Matt Brandon, “Planet Earth III” has been creating a global buzz.
Fremantle Sells ‘The Piano’ & Debuts ‘Thank God You’re Here’
