After weeks of anticipation, Bravo has finally released an exciting full trailer for “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy.” This limited Peacock anthology series brings together the iconic cast members from the original run of “The Real Housewives of New York City.” Fans can look forward to seeing Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, and Kristen Taekman back in action.
In this series, the original cast members head off to St. Barths, reminding viewers of their iconic trip to St. John in the Season 3 episodes known as “Scary Island.” The trailer promises pirate line dancing, disco nights, water sports, and lots of memorable moments with sand-in-bikini encounters. Right from the beginning, the trailer showcases the dynamic personalities, cocktails, and catchphrases that made these women beloved by fans. Of course, conflicts also arise as the women reunite and explore their surroundings.
During a tropical brunch in the trailer, a fiery Dorinda Medley tells Kristen Taekman, “Eagles don’t fly with pigeons,” setting the stage for what could be one of the most memorable lines from the show. The trailer first premiered at BravoCon in Las Vegas to an enthusiastic response from fans. All the women, except for Ramona Singer, attended the panel discussion led by Bravo superfan and actor Michael Rapaport.
Although Ramona Singer’s removal from BravoCon due to a racial slur towards a reporter wasn’t addressed during the panel, it is also not a significant part of the trailer. An audience member brought up Bethenny Frankel’s “reality reckoning” and referred to it as a “takedown,” but Rapaport intervened and prevented the women from responding. He passionately exclaimed, “There ain’t no takedown – does this look like a fucking takedown?” while gesturing towards the audience.
Amidst the panel discussion, Kelly Bensimon interrupted and revealed that Ramona Singer had emailed her, asking her to appear on her podcast. Bensimon’s response was witty and lighthearted as she replied, “I’ll revisit it in 2025.”
Michael Rapaport also asked the women to choose the “MVP of fun” on the trip. Dorinda Medley nominated herself and Luann de Lesseps, while Kristen Taekman voted for Sonja Morgan. Fans won’t have to wait too long to watch these entertaining moments unfold, as the series is set to premiere on December 14th. The first three episodes will be available to stream immediately, followed by new episodes every Thursday.
