Has the Taylor Swift Eras Tour Concert Film made over $100 million in advance sales globally?

The highly anticipated concert film, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, has already sold over $100 million in advance tickets worldwide, according to AMC Theatres Distribution and AMC Entertainment. The film is set to open in close to 8,500 theaters across 100 countries in just one week.

The demand from audiences has been nothing short of incredible, with AMC stating that the film has dominated large screen formats across the United States, from big cities to small towns. Directed by Sam Wrench, this movie captures the essence of Taylor Swift’s blockbuster tour and will make its debut on October 13 at 6 p.m. local time. AMC has also announced that a world premiere event will be held on October 11 in Los Angeles, making it one of the most highly anticipated films on the fall theatrical release calendar.

The release of the film will be handled by various sub-distribution partners. Variance Films will handle the release in the United States, Cineplex in Canada, Cinepolis in Mexico and Central America, and Trafalgar Releasing will handle the release outside of North America.
