Don’t be a scaredy-cat, because Christopher Abbott is set to star in Leigh Whannell’s Wolf Man for Universal Pictures and Blumhouse, and it’s sure to be a howling good time. The feature is set to be released on Friday, October 25, 2024, so mark your calendars now and prepare for some monster mayhem.
In Wolf Man, Abbott will play a man whose family is being terrorized by a lethal predator. The film was written by Whannell & Corbett Tuck and Lauren Schuker Blum & Rebecca Angelo. With Jason Blum producing the film and Ryan Gosling, Ken Kao, Bea Sequeira, Mel Turner, and Whannell serving as executive producers, it’s sure to be a star-studded affair.
Universal and Blumhouse have been eager to sink their teeth into this monster IP for some time, and with Abbott’s ascension as a highly-sought after leading man, it’s no surprise they were quick to bring him on board. Plus, with Whannell at the helm for his second monster movie and fourth directing collaboration with Blumhouse, we know we’re in for a wild ride.
