Ryan Reynolds mocks ‘Deadpool 3’ spoilers with hilarious set pics

Deadpool 3 has a serious case of leaky faucets, and Ryan Reynolds is not having it. The notorious leaker of set photos himself is now trolling the scoop community with some fake new set photos for Deadpool 3. It’s a classic case of fighting fire with fire, or in this case, fighting leaks with more leaks.

Leaks have become a part and parcel of superhero movie news, prompting Reynolds to issue a plea for fans to stop sharing set photos. But it seems that wasn’t enough, so now Reynolds has taken matters into his own hands, flooding the internet with “new” set photos from Deadpool 3 to try and drown out the real leaks. Let the battle of the leaks begin!

As entertaining as these fake Deadpool 3 set photos are, Reynolds does raise an interesting point about the conversations around superhero films. The obsession with leaks and spoilers has really taken the fun out of the movie-making process. From filming on soundstages to excessive secrecy and CGI, it’s clear that the leaks and the ensuing buzz around them have had a real impact. Maybe it’s time for everyone, including us, to rethink our approach to this whole leaky business.

Who else is attached to the Deadpool threequel?

Shawn Levy is taking the reins as director for Deadpool 3 after collaborating with Reynolds on Free Guy and The Adam Project. This also brings about a reunion between Levy and Hugh Jackman, who previously worked together on Real Steel.

Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are on script-duty for Deadpool 3, having written the first two installments in the series. The Molyneux sisters also took a crack at a previous draft of the project, adding a bit of sibling magic to the mix.

The highly-anticipated release date for Deadpool 3 is July 26, 2024. So mark your calendars, folks! And of course, stay tuned for all the latest news on the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more superhero goodness!
