Did the cast of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ reunite on the SAG-AFTRA picket line?

Several Grey’s Anatomy cast members reunited on the picket lines Friday for the actors’ strike. Kim Raver, who plays Dr. Teddy Altman on the medical drama, took to Instagram following the picket to share highlights from the day. Several of her co-stars from the ABC show who joined her could also be seen in her video, including Chandra Wilson, Jason George, James Pickens Jr., Camilla Luddington, Sarah Drew, Kelly McCreary and more.

In her video caption, Raver expressed her pride in standing in solidarity with her Grey’s cast/crew family and fellow SAG-AFTRA Union members in front of Warner Brothers. She also gave a special shout out to Jason Winston George for his support during the picket.

Sarah Drew, who plays Dr. April Kepner, also shared her own video from the picket on social media, emphasizing their determination and refusal to back down. Kelly McCreary, who portrays Dr. Maggie Pierce, added on Instagram, “We out here. #sagaftrastrong #wgastrong,” along with a photo.

The picket outside Warner Bros. in Burbank, California, on Friday focused on actors who played first responders on screen, including police officers, firefighters, paramedics, ER doctors, and animal rescue workers.

SAG-AFTRA, on X (formerly Twitter), explained that the specific picket aimed to salute Hollywood’s Bravest and Finest and honor the heroes who inspire our screens and the ones who bring them to life.

Earlier this week, SAG-AFTRA restarted negotiations with the AMPTP, who bargains on behalf of studios and streamers, for the first time since going on strike in July. The negotiations are expected to continue on Monday.
