Is Millie Bobby Brown prepared to bid farewell to Stranger Things on Netflix?

Fans of Stranger Things have been eagerly awaiting the release of the final season. However, one star of the show, Millie Bobby Brown, recently revealed that she is ready to say goodbye to the series. Brown expressed that Stranger Things is keeping her from pursuing the stories she is truly passionate about.

It’s hard to believe that Stranger Things is already over 7 years old. This flagship series from Netflix has been surprising fans for over half a decade, and the upcoming season will be its last. While many people are sad to see the show end, Millie Bobby Brown is not among them. She stated that she is ready to say goodbye and pursue projects she is more passionate about.

“When you’re ready, you’re like, ‘All right, let’s do this. Let’s tackle this last senior year. Let’s get out of here,’” Brown shared with Glamour Magazine. “Stranger Things takes up a lot of time to film and it’s preventing me from creating stories that I’m passionate about. So I’m ready to say, ‘Thank you, and goodbye.’”

One can imagine that having a centralizing role in a project like Stranger Things would take a lot of time. Each episode of the series is made with the budget of a blockbuster movie, which likely prevents Millie Bobby Brown from working on other projects. Hopefully, the actress is able to find closure as the series comes to a close.

Stranger Things are coming to Hawkins…

David Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper on the show, recently mentioned that he is preparing to shoot the season at the same time as Marvel’s Thunderbolts, as both productions are based in Georgia. Both productions are currently on hold due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.

Stranger Things was created by Matt and Ross Duffer, who also serve as executive producers alongside Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, Brian Wright, Cindy Holland, Jessica Mecklenburg, Matt Thunell, Karl Gajdusek, Iain Paterson, and Curtis Gwinn.
