Jason Momoa admits Aquaman’s future in DC Universe is looking shaky. Yikes!

Jason Momoa, the iconic Aquaman actor, expresses doubt about returning as the King of Atlantis in future DC movies. However, he still hopes to be part of the DC Universe in some capacity. Could we see him as Lobo? Only time will tell. Stay tuned for more superhero shenanigans with Momoa!

Jason Momoa, better known as the hunky, trident-wielding Aquaman, has some bad news for DC Universe fans. The actor recently expressed his doubt about returning as the King of Atlantis in future DC movies, stating, “I don’t think it’s really, like, a choice… The truth of it is, I mean, if the audience loves it, then there’s a possibility. But right now, I’m like, ‘It’s not looking too good.’”

But fear not, Aquaman enthusiasts! Momoa still hopes to swim in the DC waters in some capacity. “If there’s a place in their world for me, I would love to be a part of it,” he said. “This is my home. Warner and DC is definitely my home. So, that’s all I’ll say.” So even if we can’t expect to see him donning the fish scales as Aquaman, there’s still hope for a Momoa-shaped superhero or antihero in the DC Universe.

Rumors are circulating that Momoa could take on the role of Lobo, a character he’s been a fan of since his comic-reading days. “I was a big Lobo fan growing up, I read every comic,” Momoa revealed. “So that would be really cool.” Could we see Momoa trade in his underwater kingdom for the depths of space? Only time will tell.

Meanwhile, in the world of Aquaman, the stakes are higher than ever. The official synopsis for “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” teases Black Manta’s relentless quest to take down our hero once and for all. Wielding the power of the mythic Black Trident and unleashing an ancient evil force, Black Manta is more formidable than ever. In order to save the world from irreversible destruction, Aquaman must team up with his imprisoned brother Orm, the former King of Atlantis, in an unlikely alliance. Can they set aside their differences and save the day? Find out when “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” hits theaters on December 22nd.

So, what does the future hold for Jason Momoa and his involvement in the DC Universe? It seems like even the King of Atlantis himself isn’t entirely sure. But whether he’s diving back into the deep sea or blasting off into outer space, one thing is for certain – fans will be eagerly awaiting his next big splash in the superhero world.
