What Will Prince William and Harry Look Like in the Final Season of ‘The Crown’?

Netflix has unveiled the first-look images for Part 1 of the sixth and final season of “The Crown,” set to premiere on November 16th. The second part of the season will premiere on December 14th.

In each season of “The Crown,” the show follows a new era of the Royal Family in chronological order. Season 6 brings viewers up to the late 1990s, focusing on the romantic relationship between Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed, leading up to their tragic deaths.

The logline for Season 6 reads: “Prince William tries to integrate back into life at Eton in the wake of his mother’s death as the monarchy has to ride the wave of public opinion. As she reaches her Golden Jubilee, the Queen reflects on the future of the monarchy with the marriage of Charles and Camilla and the beginnings of a new Royal fairytale in William and Kate.”

In this season, the lives of Prince William and Prince Harry as they come of age will be depicted. Two actors will play each character as younger and older versions. Rufus Kampa will play Prince William in Part 1, and Ed McVey will portray him in Part 2. Fflyn Edwards will play Prince Harry in Part 1, and Luther Ford will portray him in Part 2. Meg Bellamy will play Kate Middleton.

Elizabeth Debicki will reprise her role as Princess Diana. She described the experience as a unique challenge for an actor, stating, “I think it’s a really unique challenge as an actor, to portray those days. I really just trusted in Peter’s emotional blueprint that he created for us to follow. It’s his interpretation and I think it made emotional sense to me, so I clung to that. Because, obviously, it’s devastating and it’s fraught and we can never know.”

The additional cast members for Season 6 include Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Dominic West as Prince Charles, Claudia Harrison as Princess Anne, Olivia Williams as Camilla Parker Bowles, Bertie Carvel as Tony Blair, Salim Daw as Mohamed Al Fayed, and Khalid Abdalla as Dodi Fayed.

“The Crown” is created and written by Peter Morgan, with executive producers including Morgan, Suzanne Mackie, Andy Harries, Stephen Daldry, Matthew Byam Shaw, and Robert Fox.</p
